This original and ambitious recording series, the Kristjan Järvi Sound Project, will present this charismatic conductor's many classical, world music and jazz collaborations while capturing the essence of this vibrant and original musical personality. Mr. Järvi is known for his innovative classical music programs and instinctive vision for cross-genre collaboration. The first album, Balkan Fever, features orchestral works by Enescu and Kodály with hypnotic sounds, melodies and beats from the Balkans.
