This CD pays tribute to Chantal Mauduit. An internationally renowned climber, she was the first lady to climb – without oxygen – six summits higher than 26 000 feet. Andre VELTER wrote various poems for her. They are read on this CD by Alain Carre backed by music, a composition by pianist Francois-Rene Duchable.
